Artistic voices from the Amazon

Marcos Alfredo Escudero (12.08.1979 - San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina) is an outstanding artist who works with a mixture of oil paints and acrylic on canvas. He uses natural pigments that nature offers him.

His works are inspired by the rich biodiversity and indigenous cultures of the Amazon region, in particular the Shipibo-Konibo, Yaguas and Boras peoples.
The series "Amazonía - Pueblos indígenas ” captures the essence of its inhabitants in captivating expressions. The faces, filled with smiles, nostalgia, meditation and joy, reflect the magic and mystery of the jungle and invite the viewer to appreciate the richness and cultural heritage of this region.
Through his art, Escudero reminds us of the importance of loving and protecting the Amazon in its abundance. Acquiring his work is not only appreciating unique pieces, but also supporting indigenous cultures and their heritage in the modern world.
